Apple New MacBook Air

Yes, Mark Gurman is republishing data from Blooomberg. Yes again. The tech publisher and its sources at Apple have no brakes , and today they bring us new data about a new generation of MacBook Air that may arrive at the earliest this fall and no later than 2022.

This new MacBook Air will have a new design , which will make it thinner and therefore lighter. Its screen will remain 13 inches, but it will reduce its frames even more so that it is a little smaller and more portable. And of course, it will have a new Apple Silicon chip that could well be an 'M2'.

A "harder yet" for the MacBook Air

This new MacBook Air would also include the new MagSafe charging connector , in addition to two USB 4 ports with USB-C interface as we already have in the model with M1 chip . Gurman claims that there was a 15-inch model under consideration, but that it was eventually scrapped in favor of outperforming the MacBook Pro of that size. And since we talked about the MacBook Pros: Gurman reveals that they will have SD card readers again.

Apparently, Apple's plans will go through keeping the current MacBook Air with an M1 chip for sale after this new model breaks into stores, in order to have an alternative economic model to the new model that could have a higher price. But we insist: it will be something that we will not see (if it is true) until autumn or even next year.
