Spotify: New features for free accounts spotted
A number of features have been discovered in the depths of the Spotify app that the developers are apparently currently working on. Including a helpful function, which should be especially happy for free users of the streaming service.
The latest information on the new features was found and transmitted by Jane Manchun Wong, who is known for finding previously unprecedented functions in apps or other services. In the past few days, she discovered several new features in the app of the Spotify streaming service and showed them on Twitter.

Especially for the free Spotify users, the reference to an offline function should be. In a future version of the app it could be possible that even non-paying listeners will have access to downloaded songs for a limited period of time - currently 30 minutes per day - without internet access.
A karaoke mode that Wong discovered in the app should also be very popular. As expected, this shows the lyrics of the song currently being played. In addition, the strength of the voices in the song should be adjustable. There is evidence that this feature works in iPhone, iPad, and Mac too .

Spotify: New function for podcasts and playlist
For Spotify's podcast listeners, the developers are also apparently working on the possibility of being able to specifically save episodes. You can use it to create a simple list of favorites, which is helpful, for example, if you want to remember a particular podcast.

At first glance, an unusual feature is an "auto-refresh" of playlists. The exact idea behind the function, which can apparently be activated for any playlist, is still unknown. However, the description suggests that Spotify will automatically add new songs to a given playlist and update them regularly. Titles that have been inserted manually are not changed.

Jane Manchun Wong has discovered various other, previously unseen functions in Spotify. This includes, for example, a revised mode for use in the car , in which, for example, the buttons have been enlarged for better operation .
With all of these notes, however, it must be noted that the features have not yet been finalized. So it may well be that Spotify decides to change the functions mentioned or to delete them entirely.
