Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate announced: with Rambo as a new character and with next-gen versions


The rumors have been sounding for days, with Ed Boon himself adding fuel to the fire in the last hours, and what was an open secret is confirmed: Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate exists and includes three more characters, Rain, Mileena and himself Rambo.


This Ultimate version will be, as we are used to in the fighting genre, an edition that will compile all the content published over the last few years : the original game, the six characters added in the two Kombat Packs and the expansion of the Aftermath story .


But let's go back to the new characters : from NetherRealm they say that the physical and water attacks of a Rain have been boosted and reimagined , which, in addition, will use a katar in the purest Voldo style of Soul Calibur.



Mileena , for her part, will keep the traditional sais to which she will add blades integrated into her new gloves. But the big surprise, for being the first time he steps on the Mortal Kombat franchise, is in Rambo , a mythical character played by Sylvester Stallone.


The study has focused on recreating the original version of the character , seen in First Blood back in 1982. Not many details have been given about his set of movements or how he will perform in combat but it has been confirmed that he will have the voice by Stallone .


It has also been confirmed that Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on November 17 . NetherRealm promises visual improvements, 4K resolution, cross-play and cross-save between versions and noticeably reduced loading times.
